Lolahemp was founded when Lola was plagued with terrible bouts of panic attacks and anxiety, and something needed to be done.

Joey, our founder & Lola’s owner, learned about hemp for dogs and found that it benefited Lola, but the products on the market didn’t quite do the trick.

So, he did what he had to do and went the extra mile, putting together the first Lolahemp Oil — a full-spectrum hemp oil that has since helped thousands of dogs.

Most of our oils, balms, and chews are formulated with full-spectrum hemp oil containing naturally occurring CBD.

In other words, we use a natural plant product. The hemp we use is harvested at a family farm in Colorado and manufactured in the United States. Once our products are ready to go, we send them over to a third-party lab to test each batch for safety and quality.

Is full-spectrum hemp oil actually helpful to pets?

Full-spectrum hemp oil contains a range of naturally occurring compounds found in hemp. Many people are unsure about hemp for pets because of its association with marijuana and “getting stoned.”

The aspect of marijuana that causes that “stoned” feeling is THC. By law, hemp products must contain only trace amounts of THC. If they contain more than that, they fall into the marijuana category.

So, cannabis with more than 0.3% THC content is marijuana, whereas cannabis with less than 0.3% THC content is hemp.

So, by using CBD products for pets, you’re not getting them high or “doping them.” Instead, CBD and the other cannabinoids in hemp work powerfully to support mobility, ease inflammation, fight anxiety, and provide an overall sense of calm.

These effects come naturally, and the risk of side effects is very low for most dogs.
