Dog Cuteness: This sure beats the dog park! Watch as this tiny little nugget embarks on the 5-star retreat of his life. Gourmet dog meals, beautiful scenery, beach zoomies, and some much-needed rest. The best part is how polite and gentle he is as he soaks up all of the luxuries a dog could ever wish for.

Cat Cuteness: Either this cat didn’t get treats today, or he was a composer in a past life because he is playing some ominous tunes on the piano. We like to think this piece is called “Fate of The Lazer Pointer.” In all honestly, this is a little spooky but it’s a must-see.

”Connie The Container Dog” Rescued Just in Time : A dog was discovered in a shipping container, having been stuck in side for at least 8 days. She was found and rescued just before the container was to be shipped on a long voyage overseas. As you’ll see, she’s an incredibly friendly girl who will no doubt find an amazing home. Even after her ordeal, she was friendly and welcoming to the rescuers and shelter workers who brought her in.

This cat managed to scale an entire utility pole and perch itself at the very top, rendering itself helpless and unable to get down. Fortunately, professionals were able to access the cat and send it home safely, but a tiny ball of fur on the top of a utlity pole is something you have to see to believe.

Do Your Kids Want a Dog? Research is On Their Side: A recent study has found that dog ownership is connected with a significant spike in physical activity in children, particularly young girls. The difference in activity was substantial, with dog-owning children getting outside and engaging in physical activity for nearly an additional hour each day. That can have a major impact on a child’s physical and mental wellbeing, especially over a long period of time.

”Thank you, Kevin” - A Beautiful Tale of Companionship: A cat can come into a family’s life and infuse itself into every aspect. Cats can give unconditional, albeit sassy, love for decades. Over that period of time, true and meaningful friendships emerge. That makes it extremely challenging, but important, to say goodbye properly. Read this family’s tribute to their boy, Kevin.
